MARS® Quality Control (QC) Module - LiDAR Calibration Checks

The purpose of the LiDAR Calibration Checks section of the QC Module is to provide an automated method for verifying correct LiDAR collection system function by testing the relative accuracy and channel alignment (when applicable) of a LiDAR point cloud dataset.

The entire QC Module is included in MARS® Explorer QC and MARS® Production license levels. The QC Module support Merrick's internal data production workflow requirements, as well as our clients' QC needs during data acceptance. The output of the automated QC analysis includes summary and detailed QC reports that our clients can use to efficiently identify and mitigate data quality issues.
