Greenwood Village, Colorado – December 11, 2018 – Walt Pennington, PE, has joined Merrick & Company as Senior Project Manager for its infrastructure business unit. He will support the firm’s surface water projects in the Denver metro area, as well as throughout the water market.

Pennington brings more than 30 years of experience in the planning and design of civil engineering projects that include storm drainage, floodplain management, water quality, detention and sediment basins, hydrology and hydraulics, and stream and wetlands restoration. In addition to his professional experience, he has a master’s degree in water resources from Texas A&M University. Pennington is registered in CO, WY, CA, ID, and UT and is a Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM).
