Merrick provided project and program management, full-discipline design, and construction services for Phase I of a master plan to expand production capacity at an active frozen food manufacturing production facility. Driven by strong market demand and existing commitments to major retail partners, our client required rapid implementation of new high-capacity production lines while maintaining continuous operations and strict GMP compliance.

Phase I included facility modifications, demolition of outdated production lines, and the installation, commissioning, and start-up of three new high-capacity production lines. Working as the client’s on-site representative, Merrick coordinated vendors, contractors, and engineering partners through procurement, design, permitting, construction, and commissioning and start-up.

Our team employed early work packages and phased design sequencing to mitigate supply‑chain disruptions and maintain an aggressive schedule, successfully completing Phase I in approximately 18 months and allowing our client to deliver increased product volume with greater efficiency.
