Overview: Operational planning of life sciences facilities and programs is a strategic methodology that allows for cost- and time-savings when designing and building new laboratories, renovating existing laboratories, or transitioning between laboratory facilities. This webinar will explore the methods, tools, and benefits of operational planning, to complement the traditional dogma of life sciences design, construction, and commissioning efforts. We will share case studies from past projects that involve project management approaches, information technology best practices, operational program development, and transitional logistics. Participants of this session will gain an understanding of how dedicated operational planning activities can reduce the cost of new/renovated laboratory stand-up and reduce the time necessary to achieve full operations.
