COLORADO – June 26, 2018 – Merrick & Company welcomes new chief financial officer, Steven Betts. “We’re excited to have Steve join our team,” said Merrick Chairman and CEO David Huelskamp. “Not only do we believe he will be an excellent cultural fit, but his contributing expertise and understanding of our markets will help Merrick achieve our future growth and profitability goals.”

Betts brings significant AEC industry experience in accounting and reporting, strategic planning, M&A, and corporate finance. In his previous role for an employee-owned engineering firm, Betts was global finance director for the environment and nuclear division, and a division CFO with Shaw Group. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Farm Credit of Southern Colorado and Phiston Technologies, Inc.

Betts is a graduate of the University of Denver and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Colorado Society of CPAs.
