Chris Sherry is Chairman of Merrick’s Board of Directors, following his tenure as our fifth Chief Executive Officer from 2019 to 2025. He joined Merrick in 1985 after earning a degree in architectural engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and went on to lead a business unit, corporate support services, and business development before moving into executive leadership. As CEO, Chris guided Merrick through a period of record growth, strengthening our identity as a 100% employee-owned firm while keeping leadership development as a personal focus. Now as Chairman, he continues to help guide our long-term direction, positioning Merrick to thrive for our clients, employee owners, and the communities we serve.
